The Vershire Riding School, a horse riding camp, is a community of horse enthusiasts who thrive on all aspects of horseback riding, stable management and related equestrian activities. The enthusiasm for horses is the common denominator for students of all abilities. We offer child and adult riding camp programs and retreats throughout the year. Our family riding camp weekends are a great introduction to our longer summer horse camp sessions. We are not highly competitive. It is our business is to provide competent riders who appreciate and practice, with intelligence and confidence, all aspects of sound horsemanship.

Our greatest assets lie in our knowledgeable core staff, our 60 school horses and our philosophy of creating a safe, challenging experience with positive guidance which promotes individual competence and confidence.

Our Eventing camp, located on over 400 acres of beautiful Vermont terrain, includes five Dressage arenas, a 72' x 150' indoor riding arena, varied levels of Cross-Country jumping courses, two Stadium jumping fields, and miles and miles of trails. Our Combined Training facility offers three-phase Schooling Trials in the summer.

Our program, now in our family's second generation of operation, has been highly successful since its founding in 1970.
