AUGUST 2: PRE-ELEMENTARY, ELEMENTARY AND NOVICE
This competition will benefit "Have Justice-Will Travel, Inc". All entry fees will be
donated to this cause. Wynona Ward, the President and Founder of Have Justice-Will Travel
represents women of domestic violence.
"The mission for Have Justice-Will Travel is to end the generational cycle of abuse in
rural American families by bridging the legal, geographical, cultural, economic and
psychological gaps that exist for women and children who are victims of domestic violence."

AUGUST 9: PRE-ELEMENTARY, ELEMENTARY AND NOVICE
DRESSAGE TESTS
PRE-ELEMENTARY (JR. AND SR.): 2006 USEF Beginner Novice Test A
ELEMENTARY (JR. AND SR.): 2006 USEF Beginner Novice Test A
NOVICE (JR. AND SR.): 2006 USEF Novice Test B
CROSS-COUNTRY
PRE-ELEMENTARY (JR. AND SR.): 9-10 fences, not to exceed 18"
ELEMENTARY (JR. AND SR.): 8-12 fences up to 2'6", approx. 1600 - 2000 m, no time
NOVICE (JR. AND SR.): 12-16 fences up to 2'11", approx. 2000 - 2600 m, 350 mpm
STADIUM JUMPING
PRE-ELEMENTARY (JR. AND SR.): no more than 8 fences in one field, and none exceeding 18"
ELEMENTARY (JR. AND SR.): Max. 8 jumping efforts, fences up to 2'6", no time
NOVICE (JR. AND SR.): Max. 10 jumping efforts, fences up to 2'11", 325 mpm
ENTRY FEES: $70.00 all divisions Trophy and 8 ribbons per division.
Entries close one week (7 days) before each trial.
A post entry fee of $10.00 will be charged for entries received after closing
date.
No refunds after closing date.

POLICIES AND REGULATIONS
The Summer Schooling Trials follow the rules of the United States Eventing
Association (USEA). If you are unfamiliar with these rules, the organizers
of these horse trials strongly recommend that you become familiar with all
rules pertaining to the sport of eventing. Applications for membership and
rulebooks can be obtained through: USEA, 525 Old Waterford Road, NW, Leesburg,
VA 20176, www.eventingusa.com.
- Proper headgear is required at all times when mounted (helmets with
soft visor and chin strap).
- Protective vests are required for the cross-country phase. (If you
don't own one, borrow from a friend.)
- No calling dressage tests.
- No unauthorized assistance on the course at any time.
- Warm-up gear prohibits use of chambons, standing martingales,
balancing reins, etc. See USEA for rules for full listing.
- No refunds after closing date.

From I91 - Exit 14 (Thetford/Chelsea) turn left onto Rte. 113. Travel approx.
18 miles, through Vershire Village and go straight up hill for approx. 4 miles.
At top of hill, turn right opposite Wards Garage. Travel about 1/8 mile, down
hill and turn left on first dirt road. See sign.
From I89 North - Go South on I89 and take exit 7 Barre/Berlin. Go to Barre and
turn right on Rte. 302 to E. Barre. Turn right onto Rte. 110 toward Chelsea.
Take left onto Rte. 113 in Chelsea to Vershire. Drive up hill 4 miles and
turn left at top of hill opposite Wards Garage and travel 1/2 mile, down hill
and first left turn on dirt road.
